This policy explains what TotalMonitor stores locally, when monitored connections are used, and how user-controlled credentials are handled.

Local monitoring dataProject settings, local monitoring metadata, and operational notes are stored on the device or in locations chosen by the user. The app does not rely on advertising, analytics profiling, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Optional connected servicesTotalMonitor can communicate with configured services, endpoints, or hosted workflows only when the user explicitly enables those connections or monitoring features.
API and authentication dataIf the user adds API tokens or hosted credentials, they are used only for the requested monitoring features and remain under the user's control.
Data retention and deletionLocal monitoring metadata remains in the locations chosen by the user until the user changes or deletes it. Optional connected services can be removed by the user inside the app.
Third-party servicesThe app can communicate with Total.js services or configured monitoring targets only when the user explicitly enables those workflows. They are optional.
User controlUsers control which services are connected, which credentials are stored, and when monitoring rules or related settings are added or removed.
What we do not doWe do not sell user data. We do not inject advertising. We do not require always-on hosted services to use the app.
