TotalShell privacy policy
TotalShell is designed so that your servers, credentials, and remote files stay between you and the machines you connect to.
ControllerSpanish Total.js · Gera G. Güiles · Madrid/Spain · totaldesktop@totaljs.es
Local connection dataConnection details — host, port, username, paths, notes, and tasks — are stored locally on your device. TotalShell does not rely on advertising, analytics profiling, or third-party tracking SDKs.
CredentialsPasswords and key passphrases are stored in the macOS Keychain and used only to connect to the servers you configure.
Server connectionsTotalShell connects directly to the SSH and SFTP servers you add. No Total.js server is involved in those connections, and remote content is never sent to Spanish Total.js.
Host key verificationTotalShell keeps a local list of known host keys and warns you if a server's key changes unexpectedly, helping you avoid connecting to the wrong host.
BackupsOptional backups of your connections are encrypted. Without a password, a built-in key is used; with a password, only you can restore them.
Data retention and deletionConnections, credentials, and backups remain on your device until you remove them. Deleting a connection also removes its stored credentials.
User controlYou decide which servers to add, which credentials to store, and when to export, import, or delete backups.
What we do not doWe do not sell user data, show advertising, or track you across apps or websites.
