Accessibility support in TotalResources
TotalResources is designed to work with the accessibility features provided by macOS and iPadOS while keeping translation workflows clear, readable, and controllable.
Last updated21 May 2026
PlatformsTotalResources is available for macOS and iPadOS. Accessibility behavior can vary slightly by platform, operating system version, device settings, and input method.
Dark interfaceThe app supports light and dark appearance modes and follows the selected system appearance when configured to do so.
Color and contrastImportant states use text, icons, layout, and labels in addition to color. The interface is designed with readable contrast in both light and dark modes.
MotionThe app does not require motion-based interaction to complete core workflows. Animations are limited and decorative motion is not required for understanding app state.
Keyboard and pointerCommon controls are built with native SwiftUI components so they can be used with standard keyboard, pointer, and focus behaviors provided by the operating system.
Assistive technologiesThe app uses native controls, semantic labels, and system text where possible so VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, and related assistive technologies can interact with common tasks.
Text and layoutTotalResources uses readable labels, clear grouping, and resizable native windows or sheets. Some dense professional views may require scrolling or layout adjustment on smaller screens.
Known limitsSome advanced workflows, large translation tables, screenshots, or third-party connected services may not expose the same level of accessibility detail as native controls.
Ongoing improvementsAccessibility is reviewed as TotalResources evolves. We improve labels, focus order, contrast, and workflow clarity when issues are found.
